Preschool Teacher

We are seeking enthusiastic Preschool Teachers who will be caring Christian role models in the lives of our children. Preschool Teachers will share the gospel with students, teach a Montessori-based curriculum, provide supervision of children to ensure safety during recess and classroom activities, set up and serve snack and lead creative activities and games.

Applicants must have an active faith in Jesus Christ and strong Christian character. Applicants should have experience teaching preschool-aged children, have good classroom management skills, a strong work ethic, and be creative, committed, respectful and work well with others.

Elementary School Teacher

We are seeking an Elementary School Teacher who will play a critical role in training up students to know and love Christ, teach from a biblical worldview and who is committed to academic excellence.

 

Job Responsibilities:

- Shares the gospel with students; is a strong Christian role model
- Excellently teaches students spiritual, academic, social and physical skills
- Effectively instructs students on standards-based lessons
- Prepares lesson plans and integrates Bible verses and teachable moments into lessons
- Ensures safety of children and creates classroom environment that support student learning
- Uses data-driven and research-based learning assessment
- Uses technology in instruction and assessment
- Participates in chapels, teacher devotions, Professional Learning Communities, and committees
- Communicates regularly with parents
- Performs other duties assigned by administration

Job Requirements

- Active faith in Jesus Christ
- Agrees with our Statement of Faith
- Strong classroom management and ability to teach effectively
- Several years of experience teaching elementary-aged children
- College degree
- Strong work ethic and personal integrity
- Committed, respectful, enjoys helping people and works well with others
- Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job

Credential Requirements: ACSI Certification or ability to obtain it

Extended Care Staff

 

Do you enjoy working with kids and want to make a difference in a child's life? We are looking for energetic and committed staff for our before and after school program, Extended Care.

Extended Care staff provide important support to the school. Staff ensure that students are safe, lead creative activities and games, and provide snack and homework support. Staff may help with traffic duty, recess duty, aiding in classrooms and other activities.

Applicants must have an active faith in Jesus Christ and strong Christian character. Applicants should have experience working with children grades K - 8, have good classrooms management skills, a strong work ethic, be committed, respectful and work well with others. The ideal candidate is highly flexible and is a self-starter.
